Our documentation link for MCCC installation contains important information with regards to the module and their settings/features. All the latest modules have been added to our download page. So if you want to install the latest mod for MCCC, go through our page with information provided below.
The first thing you need to do for installation is to download the Mc Command Center mod while keeping in mind that a mc_cmd_center.ts4script is mandatory. Any additional module is always optional depending upon the functionality required for the game.
Now, make sure that the packages and modules are placed inside the very same folder. Also, ensure that this particular folder doesn’t go deeper than one level in Sims 4 folder structure for mod. Say for example, having a folder as “The Sims 4\Mods\MCCC” is perfectly fine. However, a folder such as “The Sims 4\Mods\Script Mods\MCCC”’ isn’t something you should go for. The game Sims 4 shall only penetrate one-leveldeep while it’s searching for the scripts in the mods.
If you are going for an upgrade to the existing mod, it is advised that you opt for deletion of the existing MCCC TS4script as well as Package files before downloading the latest version and extracting the same into the mod folder.
When opting for the upgrades, always leave the mc_dresser.cfg and mc_settings.cfg as it is. This is because they are automatically upgraded to the latest versions without the user having to redo the settings manually.
For all of the above modules, when downloading, make sure you unzip the zip files. Place all these files extracted from the archives up into the mod folder of your game.
Make sure the option “enable script mods” is on. Now load up the household after which you will receive a notification stating “Welcome to MC Command center version x”.
