Pine trees and dense forests surround granite falls, so it is the best area for people looking to take a break in nature. Your sims will have a good time traversing the hiking trails and living in a cabin. There are various indoor hotels you can rent too if living in the lap of nature is not something you are comfortable with.

Ranger stations are convenient spots throughout the area that let people buy necessary hiking camping objects. Wild animals are also out on the hunt, so beware of them. Rental lots are also available if you do not like rolling with nature and wood-made cabins.

How to get to granite falls sims 4

To get to granite falls, you need to book a vacation first. To book a holiday, pull out your smartphone and click on the Car icon displayed there. From there, click on the Travel Tab; after clicking on the tab, select the Take a Vacation tab. You will see a long list of travel destinations you can choose for your vacation.

From there, you can select the Granite Falls option to book your trip and go to the destination for your camping trip.

You can do many things in granite falls, but the most prominent is to set up tents and camps. You can go hiking, jogging, and walking around the campgrounds, and you can also find a secret trait that leads to a hidden lot.

Among these things, you can do barbeques, campfires, fishing, and collect various plants, crystals, and metals from nature around the world.

Neighborhoods and Lots

There are, in essence, three neighborhoods in Granite Falls, out of which one is hidden; we will cover that later in this article. The first is the Campgrounds, and the second is the Granite Falls Forest. The secret lot is termed Hermit’s lot; in this article, we will also explain how you can get to that lot.

Campgrounds

The campgrounds are a sub-world you can access in Granite Falls, where most of the fun stuff happens. In this neighborhood, you can hike, jog and walk around. There are tents, food, campfires, and tables that you can purchase in this area, along with hiking equipment. There are five total lots in this area.

The lots are pre-built cabins, while the fifth one is relatively smaller than the others. It has lesser objects but offers a nice space to set up camp. You can edit lots with the help of cheats, which is unnecessary but provides more flexibility to the players. 

There are pine forests and lakes which you can use to do many things such as explore and fishing. You will notice a giant wooden statue in the middle of the neighborhood. If your sim’s handiness level is 7, you can make a smaller version for yourself. Many sims can wear a bear costume in this neighborhood, while there is space to set up barbecues, tents, and more.

Granite Falls Forest

The forest offers many things to the players looking for adventure. It has a national park with many animals, plants, and scenery. It also features a house you can rent; pine forests surround it. There are collectibles if you are a collector, and hiking is the prevalent activity to do in this forest.

Inside the house, some containers house many insects, which is not surprising, and it also has a fireplace. There are also picnic tables outside the home and a portable cooler, perfect for a relaxing day with nature. 

Lots

As we discussed earlier, there are five rental lots in sims 4 granite falls, and the price varies according to the size and what it provides to the sims. You can edit the lots if you are not living in them, but if you are, use cheats to change whatever you like. Here is the cost for staying in each style of the lot.

• Campground – This lot is made explicitly for campers and is the most basic. It costs less than other lots (111 simoleons only) and has a picnic table, a pit, and a campfire. There is no seating equipment, so you must buy your own from the ranger stations or bring it. It also has a toilet stall, which is not ideal, but compromises must be made for low prices.
• Lakeside Retreat – This lot is the most expensive and looks like a mansion. It has two floors with three bathrooms and four bedrooms, so if you have a huge family or friend group, this one is the go-to. The price per day for this lot is 889 simoleons, and it also has a kitchen of its own. There is a small living room with a radio and a fireplace. There are two terraces, a small one on the first floor and a big one on the second. The lot size of this retreat is 40×30.

• Forest Hideaway – This hideaway is the second most costly lot and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cost per day is 634 simoleons, which has a severe downgrade compared to the lakeside retreat. The beds are not that good; the toilets are decent. However, there is a fireplace and a television, not a flatscreen, but it does the job. There are two terraces, one with a game table and the second has a cooler and a small table. There is a place outside to set up barbeques and campfires.
• Riverside Retreat – Another retreat that has many facilities and is relatively cheaper than the previous two options we looked at. It is a 30×20 sized lot and has a bedroom and a bathroom. The daily price is 281 simoleons, a living room, and a kitchen. There is a fridge, but the kitchen does not have any stoves. You can cook your food using the barbeque grill, and there is an outdoor shower. You will also find a game table with a cooler and a fireplace.

• Green Getaway – This house is a bit costlier than the riverside retreat, but it looks like a shy cabin in the woods. It has a bedroom and bathroom, a cheap fridge, and a television. There is a barbeque outside and a campfire; you can use the bathtub to take a bath. It costs 396 simoleons per day. This cabin is also a 30×20 lot.

Weather

The weather in Granite Falls is standard and has a rotation of four different seasons if you have the Seasons expansion pack. The summer is hot and has heat waves, while winter is cold with blizzards, snow, and storms. Fall has occasional rain and snow with a mix of warm and cold temperatures. Springs are a distinction between wet, cool, and warm.

You can expect a change in weather dials whenever you visit Granite Falls, but you will enjoy your trip no matter the time of the year.

Secret Lot

There is also an additional lot which is the Hermit’s lot. In this section, we will show you to access it and the things you can do in that lot.

You can unlock this secret lot by exploring the Granite Falls forest, you will find a secret scrub hole there, and from there, you will go on a rabbit hole adventure. In this adventure, you will be asked many types of questions. If you have trouble finding the hole, it is near a small cabin in the woods.

After entering the hole, follow the exact steps listed below; the first is Step Forward, then Go through The Web, Ignore the Object, and the last is Approach the Sim. All of these steps done in the correct order will get you to the Hermit’s House. The place is also known as the Deep Woods.

Rock structures and trees surround the area in which the Hermit lives; there are also various waterfalls. You can fish in those waterfalls, and an exclusive fish is the rare mountain lion fish found there. You can also find a campfire spot near the waterfall. 

If your sim has the Herbalism trait or is just a fan of exploration and collecting stuff, there are many plants, crystals, and metals to collect in this place. There is also a will-o-the-wisp, a rare insect found here. The house also has a working table and plants which you can harvest.

If you talk with the Hermit, an NPC, and develop a good friendship with them, they will teach you to make a rare recipe for a Fungal Infusion Fertilizer.
