How to Start a Business Career?

- Use your sim’s phone or computer to go to the Career Menu.
- Click on “Find a Job” and select “Business Career.”

- Aspirations – There isn’t any specific aspiration that you must have to follow this career path, but there are a few aspirations that would benefit you in the long run. For instance, the Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration would be an excellent choice because, as I mentioned earlier, this career pays generously. Friend of the World aspiration could also work in your favor because being a business person requires you to build relationships and have a strong charisma.
- Traits – Again, there is no compulsion to add these traits if you want to pursue a business career, but it would help you. The “genius” trait would benefit your sim in gaining the Logic skill and maintaining focus. Another trait that you can add is the “self-assured” trait because being self confident would work in your sim’s favor.
In the beginning, you might have to do the rut work such as filling reports, which you can search for on the Computer, under the Web Menu. Your sim might also gain the “Paperwork Drudgery” bored moodlet from time to time. But there’s no other option than to go ahead with these levels and hope that they end soon.

Business Career Branches
There are two branches that your sim can choose once they reach level 6: Sims 4 Investor or Management. They can either become a Business Tycoon by choosing the Management Career Branch or become an Angel Investor Sims 4 through the Investor Career Branch. Let’s know more about both these branches so that you can make an informed decision.
1. Management Career Branch
The primary job of the sims choosing this branch is to make business calls. We told you it’d get easy. These business calls can go in two ways: either the call is successful, which helps your sim receive a confidence moodlet, or it’d go bad, and they’d gain an embarrassed moodlet. If you don’t know how to make business calls, then all you have to do is go to the Phone option under Household. These calls can only be made after work hours, that is 8 p.m to 8 a.m on weekdays. Even if the calls fail, you can make your sim feel confident by making them brush their teeth or by psyching themselves up in the mirror.
This branch focuses on the Charisma skill, and your sim must maximize this skill to complete the Management Career Branch. Your sim’s logic skill should also be at level 8. Reaching the top of this branch would increase your salary to §15,000 per week. However, achieving a promotion would not be as easy.
Benefits of Management Branch
As you get promoted in this career, you’d keep unlocking new objects. For instance, your sim’s first promotion would acquire them a senior management suit and an interaction to make business calls. Similarly, you’ll keep on unlocking new items, such as The Executron Executive Desk Throne, Executron Bookshelf, The Executive Guest Chair, And The Executron Executive Desk.

2. Investor Career Branch
Your sim’s daily task would be to research stock on computer, and this would be time taking work. For those who are unaware of how to research stock Sims 4, go to the Computer and click on the Web option. Once you complete the task, your sim will gain a Focused moodlet. To become an Angel Investor, you’d need to reach level 10 in Logic Skill and level 8 of the Charisma skill. Your sim can earn §13,000 if they reach the top of this branch.
Benefits of Investor Branch
Since your sim would be pursuing this career branch, they’d be able to turn their personal funds into stocks and earn money through that as well. But like in real life, you might have to bear the losses as well, so invest carefully. You can earn up to 2.5x of your money, but if you’re in a loss, you might only get 20% of your invested money back. Sims can invest $1000, $2000, or $5000 every 48 hours if they want.
To get a focused moodlet before work, your sim can play chess and think about their next moves before it’s time for them to reach the office.
Your sim would earn objects and interactions as they get promoted. The first promotion would yield them a senior management suit along with three interactions, give fake investment tips, research stocks, and invest in stocks. They’ll unlock more objects as they reach new heights, which are Executron Personal Stock Ticker, The Executron Desk Pen Set, Chronos Magazine, And The Executron Executive Desk. Once you reach the final level, you’d only have to work 4 days a week.
